Du bor två nätter i fantastiska tältkåtor hos Lennart Pittja. Du deltar i aktiviteterna som behövs i lägret, bl.a. matlagning.
Sapmi Nature Camp and Tjuonajokk combo
This is a winter adventure where you get to experience the Sami culture from two places and two perspectives. You stay the two first nights in really nice ”lavvus” with Lennart Pittja of Unna Tjerusj Sami community. He will give you unique insights from the Sami lifestyle and he lets you try a variety of experiences. You take part in the various activities that is necessary in a camp, among other things cooking. You stay in a reindeer herding country that has been used by the Unna Tjerusj community for thousands of years. Your stay does not threaten the reindeer or the herding, instead you learn more about the sami lifestyle, today and in the past.
After that we take the snowmobile far into the mountains, to Tjuonajokk, where two more nights and more adventures await. There are no roads to Tjuonajokk. Here you stay in comfy cabins or rooms and you can even take a shower or a sauna and enjoy great meals in the restaurant. With some luck you see the Northern Lights. Experience Sapmi in a safe, friendly and educational way with us! The love of nature and the reindeer is the foundation in this experience. All is included, warm clothing, meals, snow shoes, cross country skis, accommodation and a great deal of time. You will also enjoy a digital detox during these days, something very important these days. Remember that this is an adventure where all the everyday necessities are not present, such as water toilet, wifi, electricity (is partly available in Tjuonajokk) or cellphone signal. But that is what you want? Isn’t it?
